How long have you been brewing: I've been homebrewing for 18 years, and have been a certified homebrew judge for 12 years.
Why Should people stop by your booth to taste your beer: I brewed this beer without first creating a recipe. On brew day, I just threw in a little of this and a little of that. . . . I basically cleaned out my cabinet full of surplus ingredients. When it was done, I ended up with a beer that defies classification. It pours black with a tan head. The aroma is dominated by citrusy Pacific-northwest hops, but with a touch of roasted malt. The flavor has hints of toffee and dark fruit, but is balanced by a firm hop bitterness. It's not roasty enough to be a stout, and it's too hoppy to be a Baltic Porter. Some people may call it a Cascadian Dark Ale. I just call it delicious.
