Quick Facts

-  The Scorpions broke ground on their new soccer specific stadium on February 29th. They will play this season at Heroes Stadium and move to their new stadium for the 2013 NASL season.

-  Pablo Campos is the leading returning scorer in the NASL in 2012. He scored 12 regular season and 3 playoff goals last season with the RailHawks.

-  Greg Janicki was named USSF D-2 Defender of the Year in 2010 with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC. He also made the USSF D-2 Best XI in that same season.

-  Hans Denissen has played professionally for nine seasons in the Netherlands.

-  Kevin Harmse has played each of the past five seasons in Major League Soccer.

-  Scorpions Head Coach Tim Hankinson has extensive coaching experience. He managed the Tampa Bay Mutiny and Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer for a total of seven seasons between 1998 and 2004. He has also managed the Charleston Battery (between 1992 and 1994), in Asia and at the collegiate level.
