Both LA Galaxy and Houston Dynamo used their first legs at home to their advantage, as LA took a 3-0 win and Houston came back in the second half to seal the win 3-1.
Despite an early goal from DC United, Houston took the two-goal advantage in aggregate score in front of a record crowd of 22,101 with goals from Andre Hainault, Will Bruin and Kofi Sarkodie.
