RailHawks U-23 Win National Championship

The Carolina RailHawks U-23’s won the USASA U-23 National Cup Championship after a 4 – 0 victory over Scott Gallagher of St. Louis on Sunday morning in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  The RailHawks were victorious in the semifinal round on Friday night with a 6 – 2 result against Lazio of Utah.

TJ Beaulieu and Billy Schuler led the RailHawks U-23’s with four and three goals, respectively.  Beailieu scored two in each match and Schuler recorded a hat-trick in the semifinal game.  Adrian Ortiz, Gabe Latigue, and Ferrety Sousa each tallied one goal as the RailHawks U-23’s finished the tournament with a +8 goal differential.

The RailHawks are led by Head Coach Dewan Bader and assistants Henry Gutierrez and Rick King.  The RailHawks U-23’s program is sponsored JRW Associates (www.jrwassoc.com), a United Benefit Advisors firm that covers over 10 million members.
