BIO: Nick Zimmerman joined the RailHawks prior to the 2011 NASL Season.  Last season, Zimmerman led all RailHawks scorers with 15 goals during NASL play over 2,295 minutes of play.  Zimmerman came to the RailHawks after two years in the MLS with the New York Red Bulls and Philadelphia Union.  A Third Round pick in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft by the Red Bulls, Zimmerman started seven games and appeared in 11 matches for the franchise.  Zimmerman was selected by Philadelphia Union in the 2009 MLS Expansion Draft, appearing 8 times for the Union.  Zimmerman played for James Madison University from 2005-2008.  In his senior year, he was named All-CAA first team, and led his team in goals, points, assists and game-winners.
